Lupe Fiasco Kicked off Stage After Anti-Obama Song

First of all, who thought bringing Lupe to celebrate Obama's reelection was a good idea anyway? Whoever it was, find them and fire them. I mean come on, E V E R Y O N E knows Lupe is not fond of the President, he's made controversial remarks about him before.

Sunday, rapper Lupe Fiasco was removed from the stage during his headliner performance at StartUp RockOn’s inauguration celebration ball  in Washington D.C. after performing an anti-war song, admitting that he did not vote for President Obama in November's election. 30 minutes into his set, he was asked to leave when he refused to move on to the next song.

Watch video below.

A statement from StartUp Rock On:
Lupe Fiasco performed at this private event, and as you may have read, he left the stage earlier than we had planned, but Lupe Fiasco was not ‘kicked off stage’ for an ‘anti-Obama rant.’ We are staunch supporters of free speech, and free political speech. This was not about his opinions. Instead, after a bizarrely repetitive, jarring performance that left the crowd vocally dissatisfied, organizers decided to move on to the next act.
A sponsor for the event, Hypervocal, also  tweeted:
Disappointed that an artist took opportunity to use an event celebrating innovation/startups to make a political statement. #startupsrockon
Hmm... it's pretty clear why Lupe was asked to leave the stage.

Still confused on why he was invited.

This man, like many; is as talented as any beatnik off the streets. How do these rappers become popular? Do they have to get a college degree?
