Justice For Trayvon

Every day something new is added to this national Trayvon Martin story, and honestly I was beginning to get confused, and wondering what was really going on, so as usual I took to CNN, and started researching.

First off,  Trayvon Martin is a 17-year-old black boy who was out walking to a convenience store, only to be killed by the local neighborhood watchman on his way back home.

Why? Because he apparently looked suspicious. Well, ask the watchman, George Zimmerman, and he was utilizing self-defense.

If you let Zimmerman tell it, this is what happened, according to CNN:

He was on his way to the grocery storce when he seen Trayvon walking. He told a 911 dispatcher "Something's wrong with him...he's coming towards me, and has something in his hands." Then Trayvon started to run, Zimmerman started to follow him, and the 911 dispatcher told him not to follow.

From there it's sketchy...

Neighbors call 911 saying they hear gunshots. Zimmerman tells police he lost sight of Martin, returned to his SUV where Trayvon approached him, exchanged words, and punched Zimmerman in the face.

*blank stare* Whatt?

Zimmerman says he fell to the ground, and Trayvon continued to beat him. Neighbors report they heard screams, but couldn't identify who they were from.

Trayvon's girlfriend was on the phone with him the entire time, and from her claims his account of self defense is false.

Police reports say that Trayvon was found laying face down in the grass, and Zimmerman was found his back wet, and bleeding from the back of the head.

o.OSo what really happened? Did Trayvon attack Zimmerman first? Or was Trayvon protecting himself?

Zimmerman has not been charged, but the case is under heavy investigation, and rightfully should be.

According to CNN, Sanford authorities couldn't arrest Zimmerman under Florida's "stand your ground" law, which allows people to use deadly force to defend themselves anywhere they feel a reasonable fear of death or serious injury.

Whether this was a case of self defense or not, Zimmerman needs to be charged. He took someones life.

And the reason for the media including he was suspended from school, and marijuana residue in his backpack?!? So unnecessary, and irrelevant. They're really trying to destroy Trayvon's reputation.

This has really hit home for so many people, and they want to see justice for Trayvon, it's even got to the point where the New Black Panther Party have offered a $10,000 reward for Zimmerman's "capture."

O_O  Right now, there are entirely too many unanswered questions.
